Wykład otwarty prof. Daniele Stasi

Instytut Profilaktyki Społecznej i Resocjalizacji zaprasza na wykład otwarty prof. Daniele Stasi z Uniwersytetu w Foggi pt. “The end of communist hegemony”. Some remarks on an ideological debate in the 1970s in Italy. 

Podczas wykładu omówione zostaną wybrane punkty debaty na temat formy państwa i demokracji między Norberto Bobbio a włoskimi intelektualistami marksistowskimi. Debata miała miejsce w latach 70. XX w., czyli w okresie intensywnej konfrontacji filozoficznej, prowadzonej przez czasopisma kulturalne, takie jak "Mondoperaio", i naznaczonej silną opozycją ideologiczną związaną ze światowym systemem dwubiegunowym (USA-ZSSR). Debata ta pod wieloma względami wyznaczała koniec hegemonii Partii Komunistycznej we włoskim świecie kultury. Hegemonia ta opierała się na koncepcji postępowej demokracji, antyfaszyzmie i ponownym odkryciu myśli Antonio Gramsciego.

Open lecture by Prof. Daniele Stasi

The Institute of Social Prevention and Resocialisation invites you to the open lecture given by Prof. Daniele Stasi from the University of Foggia, entitled "The end of communist hegemony. Some remarks on an ideological debate in the 1970s in Italy”.

The lecture will discuss some points of the debate be­tween Norberto Bobbio and some Italian Marxist intellectuals about the form of State and democracy. The debate took place in the 1970s, that is in a period of intense philosophical confrontation, led by cultural journals such as “Mondoperaio” and marked by a strong ideological opposition linked to the bipo­lar international system (USA-USSR). The debate in many ways marked the end of the Communist Party's hegemony in the Italian cultural world. This hegemony was based on the concept of progressive democracy, anti-fascism and the rediscovery of the thought of Antonio Gramsci.

The lecture will take place on 25^th May 2002 at 12.00 pm in The Institute of Social Prevention and Resocialization (at 20 Podchorążych Street) in room 37 (the first floor).
